Live in Alabama and Texas · More states on the way

The operating system for school choice.

States across America now put education money directly in families' hands. ChoiceOS™ is the platform that makes those programs work: for the families spending, the providers serving, and the teams administering. It runs in production in two states today, and the network grows one state at a time.

account that works on every site in the network

ChoiceOS wasn't built in a lab and pitched from slides. It launched in Alabama in early 2026, went live in Texas in October, and we have operated it ourselves every day since: thousands of families searching, thousands of providers managing listings, and each state's own program rules running side by side on one platform. A provider approved in both states keeps one profile and one account. We eat our own cooking, and we know the edge cases because we have lived them in more than one state.

The network

One operating system. Every state.

School choice is a state-by-state market, and providers rarely stop at a state line. ChoiceOS runs every program on one platform: each state keeps its own rules, categories, and branding, while a provider serving several states manages one profile and families get the same experience wherever they live.

Your state

More states are in prelaunch now. Each one is a new program configured on the same platform, not a new build, so providers already on the network carry their profile with them.

What we do

Build. License. Deploy.

Build

ChoiceOS is engineered, maintained, and continuously improved by Choice Rubric. One platform, not fifty custom builds.

License

States, nonprofits, and program administrators license the platform instead of commissioning one from scratch.

Deploy

Your program's rules, providers, and branding go in. A working deployment comes out, live in weeks instead of legislative sessions.

Under the surface

Not a database with a skin.

Directories list things. ChoiceOS delivers results. At its core is Encontra™, the proprietary matching algorithm that ranks providers against a family's actual situation: the program's rules, the service category, the location, the fit. Providers surface to the right families. Families find services they can actually use.

The platform

One system. Four layers.

Every ChoiceOS deployment ships the same architecture, configured to the program it serves, so the experience holds from one state to the next. Alabama and Texas run it today.

Public Layer

The family-facing site: Encontra™ search, verified provider profiles, templated program pages, and a searchable FAQ.

Family Layer

Dashboards, money management, purchase requests, favorites, reviews, and side-by-side provider comparison.

Provider Layer

Profile management, compliant in-app messaging, and Mira™ analytics covering everything from search appearances to contact reveals.

Administrator Layer

Program operations: billing and reporting, review and user management, support tooling, and tiered admin access.

ChoiceOS enhances payment platforms and wallets.

We can integrate our technology with any payment provider responsible for the payments layer in a state's school choice program. From single sign-on for families and providers, to deeper marketplace integrations, ChoiceOS is built to last.
